IT management as a flat-rate subscription
An IT management subscription service handles the recurring infrastructure and SaaS administration work your team keeps deferring — SSL renewals, DNS changes, user provisioning, cloud account hygiene, and SaaS audits — delivered the same business day. 1daytasks operates this as a flat-rate subscription from $997/month with a dedicated pod that operates under least-privilege access in your tooling. No standing admin rights, no per-ticket billing, no managed services contract.
What we cover
Cloud admin: AWS, GCP, Azure user/role management, IAM audits, billing alerts, simple Terraform changes. DNS: Cloudflare, Route53, Namecheap, GoDaddy record updates and migrations. Identity: Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 user provisioning, group management, MFA enforcement.
We don't replace a managed service provider for 24/7 incident response, but we do replace the need to file a ticket every time someone needs an SSL renewed.
How access works
Least-privilege by default. We get scoped roles for the specific tasks in queue, never standing admin. For ad-hoc work we can use your IT request flow (Just-in-Time access) so we operate with the same permissions footprint as a contractor would.
Action logs are sent back to you via Loom + ticket comment, so your audit trail is intact.
What 'same day' means for IT tasks
Tasks submitted by 11am are in progress within 2 hours and shipped by EOD. Some tasks have external dependencies (DNS propagation, SSL DCV) — for those, we kick them off same-day and confirm completion as the dependency clears.
Anything that requires production change windows (e.g., scheduled DNS cutover at 2am) gets calendared, not shipped same-day.
Common IT tasks we ship in a day
- Renew an SSL certificate
- Update DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT)
- Provision a new user across SaaS tools
- Offboard a departed employee from all systems
- Audit Google Workspace admin roles
- Set up a new Cloudflare zone
- Add a domain to a transactional email provider
- Configure SPF / DKIM / DMARC
- Create a new IAM role in AWS
- Set up cloud billing alerts
- Tighten Supabase RLS policies
- Migrate domain from one registrar to another
- Add MFA to admin accounts
- Set up Okta SAML for a new SaaS app
- Audit shared drives for stale access

Frequently asked
Are you a managed service provider (MSP)?+
No. MSPs cover 24/7 incident response, security monitoring, and full lifecycle management. We cover the recurring backlog of small IT tasks that don't justify an MSP retainer.
What about security and compliance?+
We sign DPAs, NDAs, and operate under least-privilege. We've shipped tasks for SOC 2 and HIPAA-aligned clients. Ask for our security questionnaire response during the audit.
Can you handle emergencies?+
Within business hours, yes — Rush Lane add-on bumps a task to front of queue. For 24/7 incident response, you need an MSP, not a subscription.
What if we use a tool you haven't listed?+
Most major IT/SaaS tools are covered even if not listed. Drop the name during the audit and we'll confirm.
